We are a privately run centre and as such charge fees. Parents are paying for a place for their child not just the days when their child attends. To ensure we abide by Ministry of Education ratios and to provide a continual level of service and care, our teachers are employed on a permanent basis and as such are paid on a permanent basis. On this premise we ask that fees are paid regardless of statutory holidays, illness or forced closure due to an outbreak of disease.

  • Fees must be kept up to date and you are asked to pay for two weeks in advance. Late payment of fees can result in your child losing their space at the centre. All overdue fees will be sent to a debt collection agency and the parents will be responsible for all fees charged by this agency. We ask that two weeks written notice be given of your child’s last day of attendance.
  • 20 Hours ECE (Early Childhood Education) – Our centre offers the 20 hours subsidy which is provided by the Ministry of Education to all 3 and 4 year old children. To be eligible you must complete an Attestation form which confirms your attendance and that you are not attending another early childhood centre at the same time as you have applied for funding at our centre. If you change your enrolment hours you must complete another form. You may apply for this subsidy for more than one centre, but you must indicate this on your form.
  • Childcare subsidy – Work and Income operates a subsidy for parents whose children attend the childcare centres. The subsidy is income based. We have forms and more details available in the office. Please Contact Work and Income for further information and forms. Full payment of fees is the caregiver’s responsibility and will be required until a subsidy has been approved.
