Giving back to our community- Communities on the Rock

“I feel that if you are blessed, or lucky enough to be doing well, you should help others” – Laurell K Hamilton
Tots on the Rock is dedicated to supporting our those who live amongst us on Waiheke, we feel that by working in partnership with our parents and families we can really support those that may need a helping hand here and there and give to organisations and community projects that make a difference to our local community, we do this by asking for a small weekly donation.

$1 a week provides $2 to our community

Simply add $1 a week to your Tots childcare fees and Tots will match every dollar.

Sustainability in Education

We endeavour to protect Papatūānuku by being kaitiaki guardians of our environment.

At Tots on the Rock we not only care for our Waiheke tamariki we care for our Waiheke environment as well. We are committed to minimising our footprint on our earth and to do what we can to make the planet better.

Through promoting sustainable practices, the Tots tamariki are encouraged to develop a sense of responsibility for the wellbeing of both the living and non-living environment.

These practices also offer tamariki a relationship with the natural environment and knowledge of their own place in the environment whilst also developing working theories about the living world and how to care for it. We endeavour to protect Papatūānuku by being kaitiaki, guardians of our  environment.
